Advanced Info Service Plc (AIS) recently won two prestigious awards at FutureNet Asia 2023. AIS was the only Thai telecom firm to secure two awards from the Asia-Pacific platform. The awards reflect the firm's goal of becoming a leading provider of intelligent telecommunications technology, referred to as a cognitive tech company, in a bid to elevate the country's digital infrastructure. Mark Chong, deputy chief executive of AIS, was honoured with the "Technology Leader of the Year" award. This distinction recognises leaders who have made outstanding contributions in the development and advancement of the digital technology sector in Asia-Pacific. The "APAC Operator" award reflects AIS's commitment to innovation and the enhancement of its autonomous network capabilities, leading to an improved customer experience and industry standards. This achievement is the result of a collaboration between AIS and Huawei Technologies.
